Gong bath at Evolve Wellness Centre in London

Balance the body, mind, emotions & energetic field with sonic massage guided by Patricia Carlota.

Creating a nurturing and transformational space, a Gong Bath is a form of Sound Healing. At its heart is the sound and vibration of the gong, which works as a tool to balance the body, mind, emotions, energetic field, and spirit. Known as the sound of total resonance, the sound of the gong gives the whole of our being a sonic massage helping to: stimulate circulation, activate the parasympathetic nervous system; slow down brainwaves and connect with meditative states and insights; let go of emotional burdens; clear energetic debris; expand awareness; connect within; and entrain to harmony.

Participants are invited to lay down on mats, close their eyes, relax, let go, and experience a sonic immersion as they are cocooned in the vibration of multiple gongs, singing bowls, voice, Shruti box, and various bells, rattles, shakers, and chimes.

The session begins with a guided meditation to welcome participants into space, connect with our essence and heart space, let go through the breath, and set intention, as we prepare to journey inwards with the sound of the gong and related therapeutic sound tools.

Welcoming Inspiration: Kundalini Yoga & Gong Meditation Workshop

This will be a very special afternoon: 4 hours to welcome inspiration. We will do a long session, including mindful eating of summer fruits, and give and receive gifts.

We will tune in to the rhythm of life, of the summer, of the action, of the flowing river of effortlessness, of abundance, of fire, joy, flowering…

For this session, please bring a gift that symbolizes something that inspires you, and you will get the opportunity to share that with the group.

You are so welcome to this afternoon where Maria’s Kundalini Yoga and Patricia’s Gong Meditation merge to create a unique session.

Together they explore Kundalini Yoga (including chanting, movements, breathing and meditation) with a one-hour sound healing meditation in the vibrations of multiple high-quality gongs, singing bowls, voice, a shruti box, and various bells, rattles, shakers, and chimes.

Helping us connect with our body, mind and spirit, Kundalini yoga works with Kundalini energy, Prana, our life energy. It helps us dissolve blockages and imbalances, so our prana can flow freely and we can heal physically and emotionally. Kundalini yoga was for a long time a secret practice, but in 1969 Yogi Bhajan began to teach it openly throughout the world, as he knew what a powerful tool Kundalini yoga is for the challenges of our time.

Creating a nurturing and transformational space, a Gong Meditation is a form of Sound Healing. Summer Solstice Celebration: Yoga and Gong with Samantha Rogers and I

Summer Solstice Celebration: Yoga and Gong with Samantha Rogers and I

Celebrate the summer solstice with rejuvenating yoga flow followed by uplifting gong bath with Samantha Rogers & Patricia Carlota.

The summer solstice marks the first day of summer as well as the longest day of the year. It is a celebration of our inner light, fire and power - it expands and brightens our lives. It is a time where we are most outward in the world (nature is in full blossom), when all that we have incubated in the winter and planting in the spring, comes to fruition. The fire/heat element in the body resides in our Solar Plexus (Manipura) Chakra, our centre of strength and vitality; themes include confidence, self-esteem, determination, willpower and movement. We will cultivate and expand the qualities of fire, of deep inner transformation, burning through our fears and obstacles to encourage the seeds of our sankalpas into fruition.

We will introduce the themes of the Manipura Chakra in the context of the Summer Solstice before inviting a period of solitude and reflection on the abundance in our lives, all we have manifested and gaining renewed strength and vigor to press forward in our journeys, luxuriating in three hours of meditation, yoga flow, pranayama (breath of fire), yin yoga, yoga Nidra, sound Bath - Gong.

May this be a time of enjoyment, vitality and relaxation as we honour the abundant beauty around and within us.

London: Rebirthing Breathwork with Gong

Rebirthing with Gongs was first developed two years ago by Purnima Lillian Cordeiro of Rebirthing Club of London (https://www.facebook.com/RebirthingClubOfLondon/) in a work partnership with Brazilian Sound Therapist Susan Manjula.

Brought to the UK in 2016, this project is an initiative of Purnima and Patricia Carlota and aims to offer a new wave of Conscious Breath Therapy and Sound Healing in group sessions.

Rebirthing - Conscious Breathing is a breathwork therapy that can revitalise and rejuvenate the body, refresh the mind, delight the soul, and enliven our actions and relationships.

The Gong is a musical percussion instrument of ancient origins used as a sound tool in Sound Healing. Its frequencies and resonance can quieten the mind, relax the physical body, release emotional blockages, and cleanse the energetic field.

Together, these two terapies, potentialise the benefits of a session. Rebirthing promotes an expansion, and the sound of the Gong helps to dissolve resistance.

Things to know

The session starts at 3pm . Please arrive 5 minutes before.

The workshop includes:

-An induction section where you learn the breathing technique of Rebirthing Breathwork, and are introduced to the sound of the Gong.

-A 90 minutes Rebirthing Breathwork practice section. You lay down on a comfortable mat ready to begin practice. In the beginning of the session, the Rebirthing Breathwork is accompanied by recorded music. The sound of the Gong will come in at a specific point in the practice.

-A sharing and feedback section with snacks and a cup of tea.

Booking in advance is essential because of limited spaces.

As a believer in a compassionate world, Patricia approaches the Gong as a spiritual tool. Her intention is to create a sacred space where participants explore the sonic landscape of vibration, connect with essence, heart space and intuition, expand consciousness, experience each moment to the fullest, and entrain to harmony. ✣ Annabelle Stapleton-Crittenden is an artist and a yoga teacher. She has practiced various styles for over ten years and found deepest resonance with Kundalini Yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhajan). She is fascinated by the transformational capacity of movement, breath, sound and the imagination. Annabelle weaves her experience as a performance artist and storyteller into her classes, holding space for people to intimately encounter and challenge themselves, to tune into the interconnectedness of our mental, physical and spiritual bodies, and to be moved by innermost creative capacity. ✣ KOSMOS SOVA AUDIO

The cosmos (from Ancient Greek: κόσμος) is the universe regarded as a beautifully ordered and harmonious system. The surrounding world, being one interacting entity has always fascinated us.

Using sound synthesis and audio recording techniques our design team can paint a sonic portrait of the world around us, whether real or imaginary. We employ advanced audio technology and software to accurately reproduce natural habitats or create an entirely new world, bringing the listener to the fantasy and the surreal.

We work with our clients through the entire process of creating an event – from conception and sound design to installation and execution.

Brighton: Yin Yoga & Gong Bath

A YIN YOGA JOURNEY WITH GONG BATH

A Yin yoga journey through space, time and sound - waking up your feeling body and quietening your thinking mind.

Let us guide and support you through a healing and opening yin yoga sequence that will work with the meridians of the body, accompanied by a soothing and expansive Gong Bath, led by the Patricia Carlota.

***

ABOUT YIN YOGA
A Yin Yoga practice consists of deep, searching and opening sequences of asanas or postures, held on the floor for anything from 3-5 minutes. We reconnect with the deeper areas of our bodies, predominately the connective tissues that wrap around and hold our joints together. Through exercising these 'yin' tissues we will stimulate the energetic Meridian system of the body and begin to explore & release physical, mental and emotional tension. Yin yoga is a very effecive way to increase flexibility. Everyone's body is different, and so, throughout the practice, we encourage you to listen to your bodies and to find your own unique variation/modification at any given moment, day, week or month. Infusing the practice with an intention of self-acceptance, kindness and creativity, the result is deep regeneration that literally reempowering us and sets us up for a life and whatever we choose to do and accept.

***

ABOUT GONG BATHS
A Gong Bath (or Gong Meditation) is a form of Sound Healing where the Gong and related sound tools are played to promote relaxation, meditative states, self transformation, enhanced creativity, and general well being.
The term 'bath' signifies being bathed in sound waves - there is no water or touching involved. Fully clothed, you are invited to lay comfortably on a yoga mat (or sit on a chair/cushion if you find it more comfortable), wrap yourself in a blanket, close your eyes, relax, and be cocooned in a sonic immersion.
A Gong Bath is the perfect 'timeless' zone to simply 'be'. It provides a space to re-generate, re-nourish, and re-set your whole being - mind, body, emotions, soul, and energy field. Producing a strong sound wave, the vibration of the Gong massages the physical body, stimulates the dermatomes, de-clutters the mind. clears any emotional and energetic debris, and feeds the soul.
A Gong Bath provides a personal experience that adds a whole new palette of colors, nuances and shades to life. All you have to do is let go and relax.

To Book: Please book directly with The Well Garden (http://thewellgarden.co.uk/workshops/)

Join Benita Glogowska & Patricia Carlota for a powerful double gong Sound Immersion. Close your eyes and open your ears, as we dive into a journey of sound and the senses!

A Sound Immersion is created using gongs and a variety of instruments, with a trajectory of sounds that are designed to induce states of profound physical relaxation, meditation and general wellbeing. Laying down on mats participants will be saturated and cocooned in the live sounds of high quality Gongs, singing bowls, crystals bowls, a shruti box and rainsticks.

At its heart is the sound and vibration of the gong, which works as a tool to balance the physical body, mind, emotions, energetic body, and spirit. About the Facilitators:

Maria Varanpal is a Kundalini Yoga teacher who loves to combine the transforming possibilities of a Yoga of awareness with Sound healing. London: Winter Solstice Yin Yoga & Gong Bath
Dec

London: Winter Solstice Yin Yoga & Gong Bath

(FULLY BOOKED)

Join Samantha Rogers and Patricia Carlota for a Winter Solstice Yin Yoga and Gong Bath.

The winter solstice is a time for renewal, re-connection and re-birthing. The longest night offers us an opportunity to go inwards and for deep reflection on the previous year and the coming year. We can tune into that quiet voice within by first softening into long-held yin postures, then affirming and setting our intentions through a yoga nidra practice, and finally allowing the mind, body and spirit to come into alignment through the healing gong relaxation. We will set the foundations for gratitude, inner listening and deep surrender.

The winter solstice marks the shortest day and longest night of the year; and the official start of winter. The darkest night invites us to fully turn our awareness inwards, to dive deep into the depths of our beings and shed light on the places we have perhaps forgotten or neglected. Like a tree that sheds its leaves, showing the bear bones of its being, we too have the opportunity to shed what no longer serves us and fully stand within the core of our being. It is a wonderful time to reflect back on the year; acknowledging how far we have come, how we have grown and evolved and what still needs nurturing and tending to.

By honouring the shadow within us, we bring light to our soul's innermost desires; that which we wish to see manifested out in the world. The darkness within and without is a time then to nurture the soil, the earth of our being, so we can prepare to plant the seeds of our dreams in the springtime. It is a wonderful time to slow down, rest and gently fall into a greater state of being rather than doing.

Maria Varanpal is a Kundalini Yoga teacher who loves to combine the transforming possibilities of a Yoga of awareness with Sound healing. She wants to create a space where we can be conscious right now and through that welcoming life as a gift with the beautiful diversity of emotions, thoughts, and sensations.

Patricia Carlota is a Gong Practitioner who is passionate about sharing the sound of the Gong and related sound tools. Her Sound Healing practice specialises in the use of high quality large gongs, singing bowls, the voice, shruti box, shamanic percussion, chimes and bells. London: Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra & Gong Bath

Realign with your deepest self with Paula Hines and Patricia Carlota - an evening of deep relaxation for both body and mind.

How to book: Please book via Embody Wellness website here

Yin Yoga is a deep, meditative practice that activates the parasympathetic nervous system (calming the body's fight/flight response). Physically the focus is on moving deeper into the connective tissues of the body (ligaments, tendons and fascia – the cling-film-like ‘tissue’ which holds our muscles together) in areas such as the hips and spine and typically involves holding poses for three to five minutes. This will prepare the body for a calming Yoga Nidra ('yogic sleep') practice – a guided meditation that will bring you to the edge of sleep, quietening the mind, reducing tension and promoting deep relaxation – ready for a blissful Gong Bath.

A Gong Bath is a form of Sound Healing where the Gong and other related instruments are played to induce wellbeing. The term 'bath' signifies being bathed in sound waves. Participants are invited to lie down comfortably on a yoga mat, close their eyes, relax and be cocooned in a sonic immersion. The practice provides a space to re-generate, re-nourish, and re-set your whole being - mind, body, emotions, soul, and energy field.
